Whananaki is a small region in Northland, New Zealand. Whananaki is home to stunning scenery and a range of activities including kayaking in the estuary, hiking nearby walking trails, fishing for your dinner or simply relaxing on the beach. more
The Whananaki Inlet separates Whananaki North from Whananaki South, but these are joined by a long wooden footbridge over the estuary, or by a 6km road that crosses the river above the estuary.
